DESCRIPTION
The Rotary Hall Sensor is an electrical contactless rotary position sensor based on a Hall effect sensing element and a rotating magnet. Built to be compact and rugged, it is composed of an anodized Aluminium alloy case and a stainless-steel shaft. Suitable for installation in tight spaces and highly resistant to extreme vibrations, it also incorporates a dual-stage output for redundancy. The channels are programmable, either electrically offset or completely overlaid for backup. It is powered by a 5 V voltage reference and provides linearly variable output voltage proportional to the angle, up to 1440°. The shaft is free to rotate through multiple turns without causing damage, as there are no internal end stops. Different case shapes and shaft interfaces are available on request.
