DESCRIPTION
This Engine Control Unit is capable of driving up to 8 injectors and 6 ignition coils, including logic command coils (SW option). Communication with other units, such as dashboards and loggers, or with the PCbased configuration tool, is via 2 CAN lines and an asynchronous serial line. It contains a high performance RISC microcontroller and an FPGA for diagnostic purposes and provides analogue inputs for single-ended, temperature and knock sensors as well as an interface for a switching lambda sensor. The unit also provides a Half-Bridge output stage for use with compatible “Drive by Wire” actuators. 6 configurable speed sensor inputs (Inductive or Hall) give full configuration flexibility for
engine-angle detection and other frequency inputs such as wheel or shaft speed. The ECU is also available in the “SRA-EDL 16 R02” version, which is provided with an internal 16 MByte data logger and a high-speed Ethernet line for the downloading of data.
