DESCRIPTION
The MDU-232 is a Marelli dashboard for bike applications which is highly-appreciated on the market and which has evolved over the years to meet regulatory requirements. It can be used either as a stand-alone display unit or as an integral part of a complete data acquisition and monitoring system for use in the demanding motorsport environment. The unit is equipped with an LCD panel and integrates a Dot Matrix section used to present the rider with a wide range of information such as the selected setting (engine brake, torque map, launch control…etc.), engine revs, gear number, lap number, lap time and messages from both Race Direction and the teams (flags or alarms). As part of the Marelli data acquisition and telemetry system, the MDU-232 communicates over a CAN network with a wide range of data loggers, both receiving and displaying data as well as functioning as an additional input module for the bike system. This data display is also available in the MDU 232-G version with integrated GPS.
